How We Are Enjoying Our New Comfy Sofa…
Friends, let me tell you… I couldn’t be more excited to share a wonderful company that we got to partner with! Their name is Homebody and they make the most beautiful modular and recliner couches. You read that right… Not only are they fully modular, Homebody offers the only fully modular automatic recliner out there. As soon as I saw that feature I knew it was a match made. For years (I kid you not, years) my husband, Tyler has requested a recliner in our family/t.v. room. Homebody hit it out of the park when designing these modular/reclining couches and I am thrilled that this piece will be part of our home for many years to come.
We chose the linen-style fabric in the color coconut. It is lovely and the softest white. Homebody’s materials are made with 100% recycled fabric and ocean plastics and are FSC-certified wood. I can get behind a brand that cares like this!
It is also stain-resistant, which makes it child and food – friendly. We have kids, and we love food! Again this couch has been a perfect fit for our lifestyle. I can enjoy this couch's beauty, but I also respect/appreciate that it functions well for our family.
Sitting on a couch is one of the most critical features (obviously because that is what you do most of the time on it… Or lying down). The plush, layered cushioning filled with an abundance of luxurious vegan eiderdown can’t be beaten! I wanted to show you exactly what I am talking about, so I tried to deliver just what I mean in a photo… Look at how you see those yummy layers just by pressing down! Having a couch with that down feather feel, I smile whenever I sit here to relax or watch t.v.
With kids and pets running around, I am particularly fond of the ergonomic edgeless design for sturdy support without sharp angles. In our last home, we had our sofa for 12 years, then when moving here, we bought a used sectional and got new covers for it. Over time, our used sectional began aggravating our necks/backs. It was low to the ground, and the structure revealed support for what we all needed. Our Homebody has better support (as seen here with the neck rolls) and has been much better for us when sitting to hang out. We haven’t had a new couch for a long time, which has been the biggest treat (we don’t take any of this luxury lightly)!
It is also entirely modular, so it is customizable to your comfort preferences. The options and versatility are a bonus too.
In fact, we will be moving our recliner over to the end by the ottoman to make this a sectional once it becomes available.
Excited is an understatement!
We are also really happy with it as it is. Using it with sprained ankles, busy puppies with good movie going in the background.
